Natural Color Productions is constantly working on book, calendar and postcard projects that involve Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, The Okanagan, The Butchart Gardens, The Inside Passage, The Canadian Rockies and Vancouver Island. Selection of photographs is being done on an ongoing basis.
Photos submitted for consideration should be presented in an organized manner, and mounted in plastic pages. Submissions should be pre-edited, and include vertical as well as horizontal views of each subject where possible. Images should be divided and organized into subjects or general locations. The work offered for consideration should be representative of the photographer\’s best work.
Photo submissions must be accompanied by a complete account of materials included. An accounting can consist of a written list of photos including numbers and descriptions, or a Xerox copy of photographic mounts and sleeves, showing all relevant information legibly. Contributors will be notified immediately of any discrepancies between the number of images supplied and the written account.
For the purpose of writing captions the following kind of information should accompany all images. Provide names and locations of all relevant subjects spelled correctly. Include the names of any activities, objects, animals, flowers, etc. Include any other relevant information available for photo's within the submission.
Upon final editing, all images not selected will be returned. The photographers will be notified of the number of their photos selected for purchase. Payment will be made upon the completion of the project. NCP will pay $100.00 Canadian dollars for the outright purchase of all worldwide rights for transparencies chosen. We will not accept submissions of photographs, only original transparencies will be purchased.
The greatest of care will be taken with all transparencies forwarded for review. All photos should be fully insured against damage or loss by the owner. Natural Color Productions and those working on their behalf will not be held liable for damages beyond their control that may happen in the normal production and shipping process.
